Hi. I would like to understand better why some Legendary/Mythic pokes have buff on dmg (sometimes great buff) and some others dont.

Before I disclose dmg of them, I will post here what is conventioned as "standard" damage for each strong aoe attack mechanic (considering super effective).
Spoiler:

Lava Plume-like: 2-2,3k (random nr of hits)
Blast Burner-like: 2x3k = 6k
Flame Blitz-lke: 3x2k = 6k
Fiery Tornado-like: 3x2k = 6k
Burning Jealousy-like: 2.6k (random nr of hits)
Magma Storm or Ice Shards-like: 6x1k = 6k
Breakwind Storm-like: 1x6k = 6k
Hail (unique mechanic): 2x3k = 6k
Fire Lash-like: 1x6k = 6k
Searing Shot-like: 2x3k = 6k
Bitter Malice-like: 4x1.5k = 6k
Zap Cannonade: 2x3k = 6k
Shadow End: 4x1.5k = 6k (couldnt match it with any other mechanic but its not very different from bitter malice for ex)

There are some more special pokes like Elder Zard, C Onix, Red Gya, Ash Greninja, Golden Rhydon, Big Cruel, Big Onix etc but I stuck to the canon mythical/legendary ones.. but I think same should apply to them

Its clear to me that few of them have correct buff (green), some are overly buffed (blue) and some should have its dmg improved (red). I know in some cases we have abilities that buff atks like Reckless and Soul-Heart but IMO this shouldnt be considered cause all pokes have abilities (f Darkrai 😭) and each ability yields a benefit, so you shouldnt take this into account just cause some of them impact directly on dmg

Last but not least, I'd like to suggest that u change this policy of adding 100 base dmg to each hit of the attack as a buff for being shiny or legendary or mythical or cloned or special or whatever. Cause it creates big distortions on actual improvements. For example Adding 100 base dmg on each hit of atks like Ice Shards or Magma Storm means a buff of 20% (600/500) overall. As for adding 100 base dmg to attacks like Breakwind Storm means a buff of 3% (3100/3000). Increasing 10% dmg makes much more sense

Hope u at least read and think about what I've wrote cause it took me some time to do it and its very frustrating to see how some pokes should be much stronger than currently are. Best regards

Idk, but maybe some of them got protection to keep them hitting more attacks for a longer time, while others have shitty defense or cure, so they don't last much attacking.

Also some of them got many weakness, so in order to balance, they get better damages, it's hard to make one formula based only on damage just because they are more rare. Many aspects must be considered when creating Pokemons moveset, it's also a matter of not having only one unique way of creating pokes moveset and damage

Im not saying what u said necessarily doesnt make sense but it doenst apply in this context. For example, Ice Rider Calyrex has 6 weakenesses and only 2 resistances, yet its dmg is standard. Zarude on the other hand has one more weakeness (7) but has 6 resistances and 1 immunity (and Leaf Guard) and yet has this op dmg. The only downside is that it doesnt have protection, but has very good heal.

Other pokes with "correct" dmg:
- Heatran (3 weaknesses, 9 fucking resistances, 1 immunity, protection, pulling atk that u can combo with any stun u wish to add as tm)
- Victini: 5 weaknesses, 7 resistances, magic coat, good stun (v-create) that u can combo with fiery tornado
- Shaymin: 5 weaknesses, 4 resistances, floral healing (longest protection and also heals dmg taken instead)

Now if u look at Darkrai, it has endure which is useless to pve and prevents it from having reflect on tm learnset, its stun (hypnosis) doesnt deal dmg and requires target and yet its dmg is shitty. 3 weakenesses, 2 resistances and 1 immunity

Some might say "oh but its good for duel" well who cares most ppl in game doesnt do pvp so find a balance between being good at pvp and not being a complete piece of garbage on everything else cause it takes a hell of an effort to get it. And speaking pvp-wise changing dmg of atks with 45-50s cd doesnt influence that much

Basically Darkrai is pure garbage, it's not worth the effort to achieve it.
Yeah but not only. Horses and Calyrex too, Reckless for Glastrier and Ice Rider make up a bit but IMO not enough, its like they're being punished for having ability that directly impacts on dmg. Same for Melmetal with Berserk. Zeraora and shiny also have no protection (quick guard useless for pve too), has 2 good aoe stuns though, but dmg should be a bit higher too. Phione is same lvl of joke as Darkrai. Marshadow and shiny have incredible moveset and good balance between weaknesses and resistances/immunities but its nothing special when compared to other regular pokes. For example Shiny Milotic or Giga Kingler or Sh Umbreon have incredible moveset and op dmg. List goes on and on

Hopefully they will read you, because always for this issue of dmg, moves, etc. they always ignore you and according to what they do "the good rebalance", I finally see another player who starts testing pokemons and comparing damage.
And that you have only tested pokemons that are "used", if you were to test a lot more pokemons I think you would be disappointed, because at least I found in my list 4 pokemons +/- that are buggy, either because of ab or simply have ridiculously exaggerated damage.
I want to think that the good rebalance for the pokemons has not yet arrived, since the aforementioned should already have it, the event/forum pokemons for the "rare" dmg are are not very convincing to say.
The same happens with the Mythic, for their "rarity" of capture the damage is not very convincing, among all of them we will highlight the Crystal Onix and the Darkrai, the 1st has a good moveset, but the dmg I think would not be adequate, since there are normal pokemons that take out more than it, and the 2nd that I know of is one of the most difficult to obtain, it is practically garbage... F for what they have and not even to show it in pvp use.
Instead of modifying dmg to normal pokemons so that they come and use the power bug abuser. The pokemon dmg fix would be good.
Taking advantage of the post, the Dhelmise has its "steelworker" ab that according to increases 30% of dmg to steel-type attacks, testing with other pokes it would seem that it barely reaches 15% and I would say that 15% is still a lot..
In short, this issue of rebalancing, dmg moveset, etc. I think it would take a long time to have a solution.

Not to mention that dhelmise moveset is a mess, it's not focused on ghost, grass or metal, it has other types mixed that only makes her ability more lame.
