Hi guys, I was thinking on something I remember from the gameboy.
A shared EXP system, this system allowed all pokemon you carry to gain EXP, althought they don't fight.
I explain, When you battle, you use only one pokemon to kill the other
and that one receives the EXP, this system will share the EXP to the 6 pokemon (or less) that you carry.

Well I was thinking on a good way to share this EXP, and I thought the following example:
- 50% of EXP for the pokemon that battles, and the other 50% divided in the other 5 pokemon you carry, (or less)

Why 50% for the one who battles?, Because the one you use to fight is the one who do all the work, so it would be better he gains more EXP,..
And the other 5, 4 , 3, 2, or 1 you have receive the other 50% EXP divided.
OK if this no clear yet, check my example.

I am Darude
I have in my bag 6 pokemons: Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie, Poliwag, Digglet and Mewtwo.

poliwag.png
digglet.png
mewtwos.png

And I use Mewtwo to kill a Articuno:
mewtwos.png
VS
articunom.png

Now I defeat Articuno, and I gained 50,000 EXP, the 50%= 25,000 is for Mewto
And the other 50% is for the 5 pokemons: Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie, Poliwag and Digglet.
So 25,000 is going to be divided in these 5 pokemons
So 25,000/5 = 5000 EXP
That means Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie, Poliwag and Digglet, will have 5000 EXP each one

___________________________________________

(FOR 5 POKEMONS)
If I had in my bag 5 pokemons only: Mewtwo, Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie and Poliwag
Mewtwo will gain 25,000 EXP
the other 25,000 will divided in 4 pokemon so
25,000/4 = 6250 EXP
So know Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie and Poliwag will gain 6250 EXP each one

(FOR 4 POKEMONS)
If I had in my bag 4 pokemons only: Mewtwo, Pidgey, Weddle and Caterpie
Mewtwo will gain 25,000 EXP
the other 25,000 will divided in 3 pokemon so
25,000/3 = 8333.33 EXP, but let's leave it in 8334
So know Pidgey, Weddle, Caterpie will gain 8334 EXP each one

(FOR 3 POKEMONS)
If I had in my bag 3 pokemons only: Mewtwo, Pidgey and Weddle
Mewtwo will gain 25,000 EXP
the other 25,000 will divided in 2 pokemon so
25,000/2 = 12,500 EXP
So know Pidgey andWeddle will gain 12,500 EXP each one

(FOR 2 POKEMONS)
If I had in my bag 2 pokemons only: Mewtwo and Pidgey
Mewtwo will gain 25,000 EXP
the other 25,000 will divided in 1 pokemon so
25,000/1 = 25,000 EXP
So know Pidgey will gain the middle of EXP, in other words it will gain 25,000 EXP

SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Well I didn't mentioned it, but this won't be easy to get,
maybe only for level 100
or after quest, to have right to use this system,
Also I exagerated, 50,000 is too many EXP, normal you will gain will be 10,000 or less

And in the official release, maybe more EXP will be required
because as all we know this is too easy.

Agree with you, even you darude said in a post that you play alone in the game boy world. It seems a good system for another type of game and is better to train pokemons one by one or else it wont be fun. Is like what we do in pre-beta now using revives on way higher levels pokemons to quickly level up. People will use their best poke to level the others and i know you mean it with some restriction but is still not fun.

I don't agree, since one of the main goals is train one by one your Pokémons. Also this system will let high level trainers sell Pokémons that they leveled using this system.

It will be too easy following the way I suggest
but it can be manage of a different way, with different % of EXP

Well if this was accepted, then we really have to check out
Exacts, %, features and other more stuff, we need to analize well well

Yeah I totally agree, it's better to level up the pokemon.
By the pre-beta conditions, launching this system, would be too easy to level up pokemons.

Well I only wanted to check opinions :D
And if other one has it's point of view about this, post it
I would like to check it ;)

Very good idea !
But... if i want leveling my 1 poke i go with 1 poke(and much of potions, revives) not 6 right?
Better is party exp with players (party).

I think you should mae that system same as DS or GBA games, that system in videogames its that the pokemon u used to kill the pokemon it gives al the exp for the pokemon that have the exp share but, if the pokemon you use its lvl 99 the other pokemon only receives the 50% of the exp, and i think the main idea of this game its to train your pokemon fair.... so i dont agree with the idea... i like more the tradicional wey to lvl up pokemons...

Levelings pokemon would be too easy then, example:
A friend of a level 100 just started and wants good pokemon.
He gives his Poliwag [5] to his friend level 100.
His friend level 100 kill 5 charizards and Poliwag is level [25]

An easy example to you:
I have a gyarados 96.. he kill fire/rock pokes with one hydro pump..
I have a onix lvl 50 (low attack, no all spells, etc)..
To evolve my onix now is very hard.. because to kill good pokes I need 2-3 revives..
If I use your shared EXP mode I can kill a lot of onix, machamps, charizards, magmars, rhydons and golems with my gyarados and lvl up my onix easy..
Because of this i dont agree.. xD

I dont kind of like the idea as it is now.

As people said, it will be too easy for high levels to train a poke, so why not do this?:

- Make it so u can level only 1 poke at a time like in the game boy whit some item that share exp to the poke (i think it was that way on red/blue versions) Unique item, cant carry more than 1 at time or cant use more than 1 at time and quest reward, non tradeable (u cant sell it) so every1 will have to work for his item (prolly make it be win on a quest or someting like that). Keep giving ideas people!
- Set a level limitation, like if u want to level a lvl 5 magikarp, u can only kill pokes 20-25 levels above him so he can get exp, that means pokes level 25-30, not so high exp, not so low and it will take time, but not that many aswell.
- Set another level limitation like, pokes above lvl 30 or 40 cant use this system, since they will already have lots of skill. prolly evolved at this point and will have a nice $$$ on stores or players

This are the things i could think about your idea, hope u dont get mad
