As toddler said, is that the only purpose of the channel?

Also, i think it could be better if it said xxxx/xxxx hp instead of % of hp left, because by watching your own pokemon's bar if you see his middle hp you obviously know he's around 40-60%, if you see hes red you know he's probably below 30% hp, so actually knowing the exact hp would be better in my opinion.
