Hi guys, with next restart there will be important changes to the duel system!

  • Players can't move during a duel anymore.
  • Players can't start a duel with a Pokemon released. *
  • Players should place a Pokeball in ther Pokeball slot within 12 seconds after start the duel, otherwise duel will be canceled. *
  • Added an animated timer to let players know when duel will start. *
  • Special conditions needs to be met in the area around the players in order to start a duel. **
  • Pokemon have a limited area to move during a duel. ***
  • Ghost type Pokemon cannot walk on solid/blocking items during a duel anymore. ****

* A common problem before was duelists "not wanting to release first", in order to make duels fairer, now the system will release the Pokemon found in the Pokeball slot automatically at the same time, players have 12 seconds to place a Pokemon in their Pokeball slot, if no Pokeball is found or is not a valid "release" Pokeball duel will be canceled.

** Cannot reveal details but the system will attempt to find the best position for both players to start a duel, if no position is found duel will be canceled else both players will be teleported to the calculated position, you cannot reach places that normally you wouldnt be able to walk, special conditions needs to be met in order to find a position so if you can't start a duel in some places just try walking few SQMs away from it (E.g walk away from a wall).

*** Since players won't be able to move anymore to avoid players moving their Pokemon too far, the area where your Pokemon can move during a duel has been adjusted to ensure both players have always sight of the enemy Pokemon.

  • The black area is the "duel area" where your Pokemon will be able to move, this area includes stone tiles from players position.
  • Your Pokemon cannot blink/dark portal outside this area during a duel.
  • Your Pokemon cannot walk outside this area during a duel.

**** Some players abused of this ability to go to unreachable places, in order to make duels fairer this ability have been disabled during duels.

Hi the timer is just an animated text similar to "WINNER/LOSER" text when a duel finishes.

I think 12 seconds is a long time, you May it down to 8 or 6?

ps: Duskull-Dusclops- and other evolution are not saved in the pokedex

Nah, 12 sec is enough for people that are "lagged" or for people that didn't decide which pokemon they want to use as first one.

I think you made one mistake here

Remember that your char is always on center of screen(you mised up 2 sqm)..so you wont be able to see a lot of map
So it should make a little more biger zone for dueling for pokes not ^ v but on < > way
I think that pokes should go also atlast 1-2 sqm behind each player

Nope, there's no mistake, if pokemon could go behind player A, player B would not see this Pokemon,
maybe this screen will let you understand it better; that's the area that both duelers can see, this way no one of them is able to run away from someone's screen

What's going to happen if a player releases a pokemon with the pokemon channel before the 12 seconds? Will the pokemon go out or it will only be on the slot until the 12 seconds ends?

Do you have to be in maximum range with a player to have the biggest duel area? Or even when you are 3 sqms away from eachother the battle field has the same size?

The system is teleporting player A 7sqms away from player B, so the area range is always the same

Cant it get bugged or something? like teleported true a wall? Into pokemon center, teleport on water, etc?

Nope, we tested it several times, it detects if there's a wall, tree, water or anything that could block any player, then teleports on a "free spot".
If by any chance, players are in place where's not too much place, it will not be even possible to duel.
