I know they are different games but the GO Pokémon has made several improvements to allow players to be able to play inside their homes.

I live in Goias, Brazil, and with the increase in cases, all educational institutions will be closed for the next 15 days.

We fight the virus by being inside, protecting other people and ourselves with masks and washing our hands and preventing sneezes and things like that, trying not to spread and being hopeful that other people do the same, but THIS IS A PANDEMIC, that could last several months, a week event wouldnt be enough, and a 2 month long event would be too much. I understand the idea but i don't agree either and my country WILL SUFFER with corona also, cause i know my people.

Being against this idea aint like "oh he's cool about the situation and don't care about quarantine players" we are some days of a full lockdown also, my main concern is to get my family safe and trying not to spread the disease, when in lockdown ill keep playing pa normally as i've been doing for the past year.
PA is still playable everyday, you guys talk like PA has been closed or has gotten harder cause there is a pandemic.

Nobody said that PA was supposed to be closed.

I meant that in this period, suppose the first week or two, when the pandemic is spreading in many countries, reduce the number of cases (I understand that PA has small ranges, but it's always something), make the player feel this inconvenience have to sit at home.

Nobody claims that the PAD administration is bad, but it's a pity that during those few days (exactly 3), no official answer was given, e.g. Forgive me, but at the moment we cannot organize it because ... ".As if we received a specific answer, the topic could be closed.

I understand that no matter if there is a pandemic or not, everyone will keep playing, but it's a pity that PAD does not promote any action on the community they have created and survived for so many years.

Maybe with Pokemon Go is indeed a bit different, because as you pointed out, you need to go out and walk. But I guess the point was more in a way to show that Games/other platforms (Pornhub) are taking actions to help ease the situation and join in solidarity with affected people.

I understand your point, which is why I also made another suggestion to contribute helping people by giving 30 days (maybe then 15 days of premium account to all players) or making at least a donation promotion so Diamonds get cheaper.

No idea where you get that idea from. Noone is complaining or saying the game got harder. Schools have been closed in Europe and starting next week (if I'm not wrong) schools in Latinamerica will close as well (earlier to Spring Break), which means a lot of people would be playing PAd (This is only an assumption).

However, as it has been said here, this are NOT holidays. We are talking about a Pandemic, something that I have never seen before (and I guess noone else either). Noone knows how to react, noone knows what to think of it or what to expect. But some solidarity towards players who must stay home and cannot do anything (like me) would be nice from Staff.

I must say I am with Patriot on this.

Maybe in South America is not that bad yet. As a Mexican living in Europe, I can see what my friends are posting on Facebook about Coronavirus and right now it is all about memes and jokes about it. Actually, this was also me 1 week ago, but as I witnessed how the situation got extremely complicated in less than 7 days that's when it hit me.

For us who live in Europe the situation is critical. Schools and Universities have been closed at least until April 20th (just to see how the situation develops, they could stay closed for a longer period of time). Some Offices have also been shut down, so that people can do Home Office. Restaurants have also been closed. People are being told to stay home.

Maybe you think: "Well, there are no Italian players". Well, probably Italy has the worst situation right now but this is a worldwide problem and most European countries are shutting down "public" life and asking people to stay home.

These are not holidays, you are right about that. But doing something to "ease" today's critical situation wouldn't be bad.

Maybe this could sound like a joke, but Patriot's suggestion isn't actually that out of line. Pornhub is offering free premium memberships to help ease quarantine in Italy :

If Staff doesn't think/plan to make an event, then maybe giving 30 days of premium account to all players could also be a good idea (or making a Donation Promotion), since diamonds are too expensive right now. I only have 4 more days of premium account and I am not sure I will pay for diamonds, since this week me and my bf spent almost 400 Euros buying durable products in case of shortage of products due to this pandemic.

LMAO "Trust worthy" XDD Nice one. Just keep your hygiene well checked and it's not much to worry about. Obviously if you're sick stay inside, and if you're old or has any other immune effecting illness then stay inside.

Pokémon go did that cause they would lose million players for some weeks and publicity(so did pornhub)

No idea where you get that idea from. Noone is complaining or saying the game got harder. And that's my point, with everything being locked up, ill lose my job and AT LEAST i will have PA to help ease this hard situation, the game alone should be enough to help on that, thats why i said the game is not harder, you can still play and enjoy pa while the pandemy is around, with or without event.
