Shattered Friendship
The two rangers walked through the forest of Celadon, going to attend a task that the same Durian had entrusted to them, however receiving the mission, Alfonzo noticed the concern in the environment, reserved as always, do not comment, however his companion Dalker knew it perfectly, although it did not take much importance because they had just been promoted to Top Rangers, they were up to any task.
Dalker, as in all his missions was happy, distracted, admiring the ecosystem of the forest, it was a beautiful night. He loved these types of missions, when they sent them to forests he found a new detail, he understood the Pokemon more.
Pineco hanging from the trees, resting, perhaps after a long day of being pecked by mistake, a couple of Hoothoot ululating
On the other hand, his companion Alfonzo did not enjoy the forest so much, with a serene look, he detected behaviors in the Pokémon that only he understood. Much of who was promoted to Top Ranger was due to that, he was a very observant and smart guy. I noticed that the Seedot hid in the trees, pretending to be acorns, all this to avoid danger and get nutrients. He was also one of the few people who had tasted Beedrill famous honey, sweet like no other. Nothing could go wrong that night.
Both had forged a strong bond with their respective companions, Alfonzo had a Hydreigon, and Dalker a Mawile. Both rangers by themselves were the best, however, when they worked as a team, nothing could stop them; they had never failed a mission, and this was not going to be the exception. Or at least, they thought ...
Dalker, what do you think I'm trying this mission? Durian did not give us many details.
If I know, I acted strangely, but do not be nervous, I will protect you, scared.
Alfonzo laughed, for a long time they did not send them to a mission together, he longed for those moments and answered:
It must be the usual, Ghost Pokemon scaring people or causing problems.
They continued walking for a long time, even Alfonzo could not resist that peace of the night, each Pokemon doing something different, and all in harmony. However, a couple of kilometers away, something happened that put them on guard and at the same time a chill ran through them.
A flock of Murkrow led by a Honchkrow flew on the opposite side of where they had to get the Rangers, at first thought that maybe that was the mission that Erma had entrusted, a flock of that magnitude was difficult to control but not impossible. But, what the blood did to them was that they did not stop to fight, even to play, they fled from something, frightened as if they had met the very Darkrai.
The only words that Alfonzo could form were:
We came back?
Dalker understood the concern of his companion, never, never, had seen a group of those Pokemon fearful, it was impossible. They are the ones that cause fear, not the other way around. However, his curiosity was more and he answered:
Maybe we should find out what's going on, I'm intrigued that it put them that way, apart, it's our duty as Rangers.
His partner nodded, he had never felt a sensation like this, I trust Dalker and they went ahead, it was not long.
Alfonzo noticed little by little that the further they went, the less Pokemon they saw, the environment was in decline. The cold was getting more intense, the darkest night, a gloomy atmosphere.
In an instant, they saw a bright green glow, neither of them had seen anything like it, almost no Pokemon shines, and of such a particular color much less. Little by little they came closer to the glow until they saw it ...
A Spiritomb, a true Spiritomb! A Pokemon that for many was only a legend, both Rangers knew the essentials of Pokemon, but fighting it ... it was a different story.
They tried to use their Stylers but they did not respond to such an entity, and there was not any other Pokemon that could help them ... they were alone kilometers away from Celadon or any city ...
Spiritomb began to attack them with Dark Pulse, stronger than any, attack after attack the Rangers only dodged, while Hydreigon and Mawile unsuccessfully tried to harm Spiritomb, it was a desperate situation, as they could face an urban legend, that, turned out to be true?
After a while, Spiritomb did not stop throwing dark, cold attacks ... every attack he launched was like being robbed of his hopes, his dreams. The two rangers knew they had to do something or ... they would die there. Without warning, Spiritomb used Hypnosis and Dream Eater, left Hydreigon and Mawile without power, they fell helplessly .... Now there was only Alfonzo and Dalker, at the mercy of Spiritomb.
Dalker saw his feet fall to his partner, Spiritomb burned his legs, while with a Crunch, he cut his arms, little by little, saw his best friend in front of her being mutilated by an abomination, a specter ... The last words that Alfonzo could say were:
Run ... run away, save Hydreigon and Mawile and run away ...
Then he saw Alfonzo being finally stripped of his arms, while Spiritomb enjoying him, feeling his fear, tasting it, chewing them, emitting a grotesque, disgusting sound, worthy of the very hell. Dalker even thought it was a nightmare ... just a nightmare made by Darkrai.
Finally Dalker was able to charge both Pokémon, and fled ... not without giving a final look at his partner ... I will revenge Alfonzo.
