It's all Probability and Luck (the luck start when he just use 5, remember, if you use 1000 ubs, the chance don't increase, just the number of tries, and with that, the probability of a success one)

I think alba.. It's time for an improvement on CATCH RATE???? It's just to much all about luck. The idea about making certain quests (tasks) that can give you a bonus on catch rate can help some...

Gusy stop being jelaous. I think luck is what makes game fun, not throwed balls limits to catch anything.
Just think about it:
your trying to catch rare poke but you know that you must throw at least 1k balls to make it even catchatble - thats boring.
now think how it is now - every throw have chance to catch = randomness is fun.
