Hello guys and welcome to Amino's life thread!​

I used to play Padventures many years ago (around 7) and I'm coming back for all the new content and because now I have more time to enjoy this game! I'm starting with a new character since a lot of things have changed, so I can adapt to the updates, and also to enjoy the game from scratch.

Before starting this character I caught myself a Drifloon with my old character to have a ghost poke in the team.

This is my starter team~

By the way~~ Where are the automatic screenshots when you level up? I got the option ticked in the config but I can't find the images

Some progress! I missed some screenshots since I thought the game was saving them but nope Started taking them manually afterwards

Then after that I went to grab Litten, which I'll level now instead of Torchic until later

Still need to think about where to level Snorunt and Turtwig... I need ideas

Good luck man, I will follow your thread, if you are in platinum you can ask for help if you need it.

Btw, I recommend you to level snorunt on weeps, mostly that and litten, since it's your alolan starter.

Thanks a lot man! Happy you enjoy I appreciate all the tips, I need the knowledge. Compared to when I played this is almost an entirely new game lol x.x And yeah, while leveling the litten I realized snorunt also kills the weeps and glooms quite well, so I'll stay there for him as well :} And I'm on dia though But I appreciate it bro~

Old region maps are probably outdated cuz there is much new quests and new spawns, much work to do. Alola islands aren't big and they are clear cuz you cant use fly, so it's easy to explore it by yourself

By the way, how do I go to Malie? I explored for a while but I gave up since I was on the clock to finish leveling Is it connected to Hau'oli?

Back with day 2, some progress!!

So far I got the torracat a few more levels and evolved drifloon. From all that I made some good money and decided to change a few things for a more solid all'round team. I got rowlet to replace turtwig since rowlet also has fly, I put snorunt away for now since I don't have much use for him and got myself a popplio (I think the alolan starters are really nice for me right now). I'll level snorunt up later too. Got a male kirlia for gallade because I like gallade a lot (is he any good here? otherwise I might change for female), and also got a dusclops because I love dusknoir. Besides dusclops I got a haunter because I think haunter might be better in some situations until I can get dusknoir. And last but not least, I got an onix. Needed that rock smash and also has ride

If you guys got any suggestions, tips or recommendations I'm all open for them I thank everyone who has been helping and following!

Would've loved to get a Duskull instead of a Dusclops and level it up but there's none for sale Same with Kirlia and Ralts, none for sale

The reason I got Dusclops and Haunter is because Dusclops seems better 1v1, and Haunter better for leveling and farming? Otherwise would've gotten only Dusclops. Later when I evolve Dusclops then that'll be the OG ghost

Now for today's progress :} I didn't grind levels much today, mostly explored the map to get familiar with some zones and tried to find some places with no luck
Other than that I did a few quests and worked on a bit of money.

I need to know where larvitar/pupitar spawn, I wanna catch one to level up! (don't wanna buy that one I wanna actually catch myself)
Tomorrow will probably be more eventful!

Progress of today! I didn't put all the levels of those two because it was too many screenshots So I put the first and the last level I got of them. Long story short I did fishing quest all the way to 40 with rowlet to unlock the fishing rod, and for popplio spent it all killing vulpix, charmander, ponytas and all those in the island next to cinnabar. Evolved them both of course! So now I got the fly/surf/dive I needed badly

I did some random catching today too, not too bad. Had some success, the kingler fell with first ball. Onix got a couple levels too while I was helping row and pop leveling up clearing up messy mobs. Aaaand last but not least, a good friend Xxfiregreenxx gifted me an eevee! I don't know which eevee I'll take, choosing from the espeon/umbreon gen and up but hard choice, don't know which one is better for me (any suggestions?)

After all that I went to find the larvitar respawn and stayed there for a little, tried my luck with a few ub

I wanted to stay there longer but I also needed to finish another quest so I decided to skip it today. Will go back tomorrow and try a few hundred ubs to see if I get lucky :} (has anyone reading caught one before? how many balls needed in average?)

Back with some progress! Long post today since yesterday I wasn't very active and when I was I spent the time mostly exploring, still trying to learn the map and looking for respawns since I got no info on low level respawns for leveling x.x

Anyway! Today was quite eventful, and met some more great people along the way
I bought this Beldum which I'll level all the way to Metagross. And after I bought it I went to a Clefairy respawn and caught one to keep. I wanted to buy a Chansey but there doesn't seem to be anyone selling a level 50 one and I'm not into gambling for the casino way . So I'll level this to Clefable and at some point I'll get myself a Chansey. I wont be putting much effort into the Clefable since I just want it for the random needed heals, but when I get the Chansey I do want the Blissey so all the effort will go into that one.

Then I also did Ice Quest with a couple friends, wanted to try something fun so we went (thinking it was still like the old one, boy I was wrong).
We went through everything just fine but when we arrived at the last room we found out it was changed, and yeah... Impossible lol. Luckily we found Edilver who was kind enough to offer his help and cleared the room for us. Big thanks for that bro!

Shoutout to Xxfiregreenxx and Waterking, you'll see them again here, we'll do more quests together :}

Then after that, I went to do the Rocket's Hideout quest to claim that kanto box. Was hoping for an Omanyte or another Eevee, RIP. I sold the Seaking to npc.

And last but not least! I was donated some more pokes! This time by Lady Bugsy, Miklo and Grimelltr! Thank you so much guys for the donations, as I've said before, you'll see them being leveled here soon enough!♥ I never thought I'd get support like this for making a life thread, so I'm grateful for this and appreciate every bit of it

Now I got a good repertoire of pokes to level up on top of the ones I got myself, so now I just need to find out which places are the good ones for them and where are those places (someone help pls XD tell me good spawns for my level for all elements except grass). I just feel like the classic respawns are so slow now compared to some of the new ones I've found to level my Torracat for example, and I feel like there are better ones out there for the other elements but I can't find them >< (I only find high level respawns)

To finish this post off, some levels, more catches and extras

That sums the whole day up for the most part! I'll keep trying to catch that Larvitar which is the last poke I want for personal acquisitions for now (besides the Chansey), but I won't buy that one so I'll have it when I catch it.

Last post for today! I wanted to level up Sting's Sandygast, really fun and strong poke (never played with it before), so I went for it! Gonna try to get it close to 50 tomorrow :}

And after that, Amino got another big surprise! Was just about to sleep when...
...I got a PM from a Platinum friend! He wanted to come to Diamond to say hi and also wanted to donate some pokes! :mrgreen:

I'm repeating myself at this point, but I reiterate, I'm very grateful for having you great people supporting me this way. When I opened this life thread I never imagined I'd get donations of any sort, I just wanted to share my adventure with my character, I take big pride and fun in advancing and achieving things, and sharing it with the community fills me with joy, it's one of the best things of this game. So getting donations like these is always a big surprise and puts a bigger smile on my face. Thank you so much.

I'm happy to see this great community spirit has kept itself intact over the years, and I'm happy to be a part of it once again.

Back with today's progress! So now that I've found what I'd consider good respawns for all my pokes (done with map exploration for now) I dedicated most of the day to leveling and catching. I wanted to level up the Sandygast a bit more but most common places were a bit busy today, so I skipped it and leveled Beldum, the Eevee and the Camerupt. Evolved the Beldum and got Eevee ready for Umbreon. The Camerupt is hella fun and strong, I think I'll carry it with me a lot of times.

Other than that I got a couple random catches that I needed while leveling them and kept trying the Larvitar catch, no luck so far. 410 UBs by the time I decided to stop to go level~ I'll try for 800+ tomorrow to see if I finally get it!

And that's it for today my friends! It was a fun day, after having spent most of the past 2 days flying around the map looking at pokes hahaha.

I'm back! And today wasn't a very eventful day like the past 2 except for a few things and more surprises :}
(spent most of the time making some money and questing).
First, I started continuing my fight with Larvitar, I'm now at 650 ultra balls and still no luck I'll keep trying tomorrow.
After that I went with Xxfiregreenxx and Waterking to TM066 quest, we wanted challenge but didn't get it there xD Easy quest

We forgot to bring teleport and had to suicide to go back lol

After that we went to do the Ice Tower Quest, this one was much more fun. I'm growing fond of this Camerupt, it does its job so well for the things I've been needing lately Feels much better than the Torracat for now since it's so tanky and has so much area damage. I hope it gets the mega evolution at some point, would be nice

And then after that I just went back to make some more money and get some levels. :} Tomorrow I hope to do more!

For whatever reason I got bombed with the dex achievements today after I logged in (never got them before). Also got that Johto Box which I didn't open because I'm not interested in any of the pokes in there Dx Might keep it for decoration in the house (need to decorate it lol).

Aaand last but not least! While I was doing the money labor I got mailed something! Went to check after I ended the round, and found this!

Perusion mailed me an Icy Snow Vivillon! :mrgreen: I didn't even know this poke was in the game, I've never seen it around, and it's one of my favorites! Got my favorite pattern of them all too, lucky one! I went to try it out since I had no clue what it did in game, and man, gotta say that's one hella strong pokemon here. Scary damage for its level and got some sweet crowd control and area. :shock: I'll definitely be maxing this one, gonna be sweet for dueling too!

I got it a quick level while I was making money because it was fun, it obliterated the Slaking in the area lol

That pretty much sums it up for today! The next things in my to-do list are still catching that Larvitar, buying a Munchlax (want that Snorlax), buying a Chansey (want that Blissey), and buying an Electabuzz (want that Electivire). An Elekid would be amazing though, to level it up from scratch, but no idea if it's obtainable here or if anyone sells it.

So! Today I log in and I go sell some pokes to npc, and while managing the locker I realize there's a Chansey at the bottom lol, so I open the locker a bit confused since I didn't notice any parcel or notification before D: And there it was! A Chansey that was sent yesterday, a gift from Toxic Boii!! It was sent before the Vivillon too D: I must've been afk and dcd when it happened, man I was so happy and confused lol.

So... even though it's late (but not unnoticed) here it is, the post for the Chansey! :mrgreen:

Thank you so much for this gift Toxic! Again, needless to say how much I appreciate it bro. This is a pokemon that will 100% be with me at all times and go with me to the very end, so I'm happy to have her! I'll have to check the locker more often, so this doesn't happen again xD This saves me a huge amount of time too! Been struggling finding people who want to sell me a level 50 one ( and I don't wanna gamble in the casino D: )

Chansey is my favorite pokemon out of the whole bunch, I've been fond of her as my #1 since I saw her in the anime as a kid, I think she's awesome. Just a thing to understand why I wanted one so much here and why I want to level it myself (even though people tell me not to because it's too hard lmao)
