The client will not run...

Hi,

I had been playing since the start of Pa open beta servers. Yesterday I formatted my HDD and reinstalled the same Windows XP Pro Sp 3 on my PC... Today I downloaded the client and when I unpacked it and tried to turn it on all I got was a message "Application couldn't be properly executed (0xc0150002). Press OK, to close the Program." or something similar (my Windows is in polish, but I checked the error code on the net)...
Looked it up on the net, but all I found is that it means I am missing some windows updates, I checked it through the Microsoft Windows Update web service and there is no updates left, its all up to date... so if anyone that knows how to fix this, could I get a quick reply as my Dacc days are being wasted...

P.S. tried restarting my PC and turning off firewall/anti-virus...

If you can,try to install another winodws version.

Fixed it after 3 hours of trying... if anyone has the same problem just:
1) download a patch, last one on the list here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...412-95b9-54d056d6f9f4&displayLang=pl#filelist (its WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe )
2) install it
3) get Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1 here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...2F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=pl (btw click "Pobierz" on the left as its in polish )
5) install both
6) fixed, enjoy your game
