Starter Quest for Pokémon
I suggest that we not start with Pokémon and instead start Poké-less.
There could be a quest we do with the Nurse Jenny since she's a NPC that's in every town (that way, no matter what town you start it, you can still complete it). It could be something as simple as like bringing her sap from a tree, or something simple. And once we complete her little starter quest.
She says:
"Thank you for that. Here's 10 dollars. It's not much, but hey, I'm a nurse, not a millionaire."
''Oh and by the way, Prof. Oak's Lab Assistant just sent these over while you were out in the field."
"He asked me to grant you one Pokémon of your choice."
"So which will you choose? Rattata, Weedle, Caterpie or Pidgey?"
Trainer Taffy: Pidgey.
"So you would like Pidgey, the normal flying Pokémon?
Trainer Taffy: No.
"Well hurry up and pick. We don't have allday. You need to get to training!"
Trainer Taffy: Weedle.
"So you would like Weedle, the poison bug Pokémon?
Trainer Taffy: Yes.
"Well then, here's your first Pokémon. Take care of it."
"And here's some supplies to help you through your journey."
You received -Pokémon Name-, 10 balls, 5 potions, & a new responsibility!
