Yes, this is legal.
But that second thing could be punished as a multiclient xD

It is forbidden to use more than 1 client at once, opening more of them is taken as MC (well multiclient as its name says is opening client multiple times, that includes any ammount higher than 1.)
The only exception is being logged in on your character + watching tv
