Check your antivirus, or firewall, maybe they are blocking PA client.

just close PA client's window, open your updater directly from the folder and do the update before opening the client.

Try to disable your firewall and antivirus, yesterday a guy was with the same problem and the error was the antivirus, when he disable it the client and update works
