I have the same problem. One thing that makes it work is to delete setting from padclient somewhere in Users/AppData. Open client and let it froze for a while. Click anywhere after a minute or so and it will let you log in but all of your settings will be gone. I need to repeat it every time I want to play because it is happening all over again. I don't know where is the problem. I don't feel like downloading game again and again because I want to play for a while!
