Hmmmm, When you mentioned it, maybe Admins can organise a house competition event, best looking house (from inside) wins. Judges can be Admins or GMs, every GM/ADM must vote once per house, also only decoration and rares stuff counts in points (that means if you put pokemons they won't count as points).
Hmmm, Points per house in scale 1-10 I think. What do you think of this?

Anyway I'll add My house (well it's guild house but doesn't matter) to see how it looks like
