Plusle and Minun Bug (Sorry for bad english)

Lately I was exping my Minun for the merge quest got it to lvl 62 and used rare candies till it was 70 .
It was holding a fire orb and a roto exp. held item . After the merge in to a plusle and minun I lost my held items . Yes it was dumb of me thinking that my held items will be instantly equiped to the mon after the merge .
This happend around 17:22 CET 30.11.2020 . I can provide links to imgur on pm because i cant post them here while i have not posted anything till now .
