i have a question about it, i'm standing in game on diamond onabsol near sootopolis from 2.01.2016 and im throwing rocket balls. in this time two another ppl caught it in 25 and 214 ultra balls, i think its not normal.

Either they were really lucky or you were unlucky. Don't expect to catch hoenn rares in few balls man - it would be too easy.

Im trying to catch Cloned Ninetales for 9 months already, and Cloned Flareon for 8 months and...
Used 7 great balls, 18 super balls, 8593 ultra balls, 76 rocket balls on Cloned Ninetales.
Used 14 great balls, 11683 ultra balls, 1 rocket ball on Cloned Flareon.
2 weeks, meh... nothing special ^ ^

Dude i used 7400 ub on Venusaur to catch,later few gb...
Bunch of that things happend to me in way easier pokes
Its just luck,i made a lot of catches...and some of then were really boring and hard,and their catch rate was low...didnt have luck
Can use 1 ball to catch it,or you will camp there till 10k rb and you will not catch it still...gl anyway
That poke should be rare,so thats why its harder

I use 10,6 k gbs on venu, 7k gbs on onix or gya... And 9,5k ubs on c buzz..its only one on resp...

The fact it says "rare" in pokedex doesn't mean you'll catch it in less that 2k balls or sth. It might still have quite low catch rate. It's not a bug, you're just unlucky, DEAL. WITH. IT

Nobody "punishes" you sit in front of the monitor and throw balls. It's ur choice. As Torment said > he used around 20k balls on Cloned Scyther. Count how much time he spend to throw it with limited time which has Cloned Island, Inko and his almost 12kub on Cloned Flareon, Tsots and almost 10kub on Cloned Buzz. As Sheeper said "The fact it says "rare" in pokedex doesn't mean you'll catch it in less that 2k balls [...] you're just unlucky". Belive me and others that catching smg is random and u can catch it on 10 balls, 100 or 5k, 10k etc..

I think they change catch rate on smeargle when some people caught with 500 ubs - at the start of smeargle respawn, im just supposed that xD PD: i use 3000 ubs on Roselia and nothing in platinum with "3x catch rate"

its still sick. i came here just when hoenn come to the game. im standing here like 10 hours everyday, tried on very rare catch rate,the changed on rare, again changed for very rare. 2 guys caught it just randomly killed this poke and i still cannot get it......... its just sick.

also there is 2 respawn place only, 4 mins and 6 mins it shoult be like scyther just rare.

I play on platinum . 2300 ub the same as on other servers (normal catch) ... next 1200 ub = 3500 when get 1,5x Catch and nothing ... next 1600 ub when get 3x catch :< and still nothing :<
