Fly Attack - Fearow

in there Near place to cerulean i fought a fearow level 58...in a cave he did fly attack ..how?
in the show the fly attack is that the pokemon get high in sky and do kind of dive attack from sky being called fly attack...he disappeard like to the skie and came but what...hes in a cave so how? bug..!

He meant that you can't fly in a cave, because you'll hurt your head.... xd

If that's the case then all fire attacks underwater shouldn't be possible since the water would extinguish the fire, and all the water/grass/ice attacks couldn't be used in hot plices with lava/fire, since water would evaporate, leaves burn, and ice melt, so we shouldn't be able to use those either, oh, and what about the ice island? The water attacks would get frozen as well!
