Very cool Nino, the Gyarados is very well colored.

At least you put the correct shiny colors, my friend tolld me they had shiny rattata blue, instead of brownish yellow

Not at all. The shiny pokemons began to appearing in the second generation, but Gyarados is Gyarados, in the first generation

Its really neither..They take pics while developing the game and post, so your not missing anything (the beta ofc).
