I know Jano is making a new system called battle mode, but I think the combination of two actual features could fit better the concept of battlemode for our client.
The simultaneity use of the new hotkeys features "add", "remove" etc, with the square at the bottom of the window that has the text "Disable chat mode, allow to walk using ASDW" could have an improvement to make our battles more dynamic and easy, allowing us to use our entire keyboard to customize the entire keys and fully exploit these features. The problem with this is that if we add an action like throwing a pokeball in the key with the letter "D" with the square cheked we move our character to the right. Maybe adding a new command to move our characters as now with different options.
With this I suggest the habilitation to press our "Enter" key to activate/deactivate the battle mode as cheking the little square that we already have, but when you deactivate it and have the text box you're not able to throw your pokemon habilities as right now happens, example:
Whit this system we could configure our keys like this:
F1,F2,F3... as g1,g2,g3,g4, fly up, fly down(this because the new client has the buttons but they arent as faster as using the command), etc..
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 numbers as t1,t2,t3,t4, etc...
"Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O,P," as habilities
Maybe letters A,S,D as pokeballs, letter F as the move hand, etc...
Z,X,C for potions or smt, I use letter B for my main backpack(because with the actual client, when you open a lot of bps, the previous window gets closed not as in the old client that made them smaller)
There's a lot of combinations.
