first of all the ground type is a bit forgotten in terms of expansive attacks compared to other types and I think this move should be like a ground type draco meteor

Rejected.
First of all it would affect balance of pokemons that have it in moveset as a medium target move. 2nd of all most if not all types have gunk-shot like spell and I don't see any reason to change it for ground types. It is better to create new spell but tbh not every pokemon must be having spell that targets everything around.
