Hello everyone, how are you?

I have played Padventures in several different periods throughout its existence. I usually create new accounts, play for a while, and eventually give up. The main reason is that the game always feels the same: just more levels to progress and endless farming, with little real fun. The satisfaction ends up being only about achieving something through effort, not about the overall experience.

Because of this, I would like to suggest some changes that, in my opinion, could greatly improve the game. I know these ideas are uncommon and that not all of them may be feasible, but I believe that one or two could realistically be implemented.

🌍 Game Map

I believe the game map should be smaller or more concentrated.

Currently, there are many maps and spawn areas that are rarely used. Most players always use the same locations, which makes a large part of the map unnecessary. I don’t think there is a need for such a large map, but rather for a smaller, well-designed, and more alive world.

One possible approach would be:

  • A large central city containing most of the game’s resources
  • Weekly or monthly rotating spawns, keeping players interested
  • More players concentrated in the same area, increasing interaction

Players who have played ZA know that this system works well. This city could be built gradually, slowly moving existing content into it and removing unnecessary maps over time.

🏆 Battle Tower and PvP

It would be interesting to replace or rethink the current PvP system (which is still rarely used) with something like a Battle Tower, inspired by Pokémon Platinum and Emerald.

A system focused on:

  • Fun
  • Progressive challenge
  • Meaningful rewards

Something that would make players want to log in and play, even without direct PvP.

📜 Main Quest

The beginning of the game feels somewhat directionless. A well-defined main quest would help a lot.

This quest could:

  • Guide the player through the game
  • Help level up the first team
  • Naturally lead players to the maximum level

This would give more purpose to early progression.

🥊 Gyms

It would be very interesting to have:

  • A gym for each type
  • Leaders separated by player level ranges

These challenges should not be easy, but they should be accessible to all players, serving as clear progression goals.

⚡ Leveling and Progression

Leveling should be faster and less exhausting.

This would allow players to:

  • Test multiple Pokémon more easily
  • Experiment with different builds and playstyles
  • Make the game feel less repetitive

🧩 Additional Content

I would like to see:

  • More puzzles throughout the game
  • Well-designed events, with temporary exclusive areas

This kind of content makes the game more memorable and fun.

🎨 Graphic Updates

With a smaller map, it would be possible to focus more on visuals.

Suggestions:

  • Updated tilesets with a more modern look
  • Pokémon with more animations:
    • Idle animation
    • Physical attack animation
    • Special attack animation

Graphics from Pokémon Ranger could be used as a base, with some adjustments. I know this would be time-consuming, but it could be done gradually. For example, each month one of the rotating spawn areas could feature only Pokémon with these updated animations.

🧬 Pokémon Variety

It would be interesting to have:

  • Variations of the same Pokémon
    • Example: one Lucario with a more physical build and another with a more special-oriented build
  • Or the possibility for players to manually adjust these builds

This would greatly increase the game’s depth.

🔢 Levels and Endgame Progression

I believe that levels above 100 are excessive.

I understand that, due to programming limitations, reverting this might not be possible, but it would be interesting to:

  • Replace this system with IVs and EVs
  • Unlock something like Hyper Training through quests
  • Or simply remove progression beyond level 100

These are just suggestions from someone who enjoys the game and would like to see it become more fun, dynamic, and modern. I believe that some of these ideas could significantly refresh the Padventures experience.

Note: I don’t speak English, so I used AI to translate my ideas. I would really like to hear everyone’s opinion about these suggestions. Maybe the game is just not for me anymore, but I would still love to see some of these ideas implemented in Padventures.

Half of ideas cool, some seems like you never played the game.
The biggest problem in your ideas is they are closer to happen when you just make new game, than update actual game.
The last time I played the game for a long period was when it had just been updated with the Hoenn region. I’ve been playing since launch, back when there was only Kanto, and leveling up was really difficult back then.

Are there still systems or challenges like that nowadays?

I also feel that many of the ideas I had might not be possible to implement, but they’re things that bother me a bit. Maybe all of this would work better as something separate, like a VIP-only island.

I could not agree more. what he is suggesting is like demolishing an entire house and rebuilding it from the ground up.

In my humble opinion, what this game needs is an increase in the number of players to boost the market, item sales, and Pokémon trading. This can be done through the MARKETING itself and through investment in advertising, which I see has been happening recently via social media (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), but perhaps the staff could also pay to further promote the game.

Another good idea would be adding Pokémon boosts after they reach level 130, using stones (of course requiring a high number of stones). For example:

  • Pikachu Lv 130 Boost +1
  • Pikachu Lv 130 Boost +2
  • Pikachu Lv 130 Boost +3
… up to Boost level 30.

Each boost level would require 50 stones of the Pokémon’s type, for example Pikachu would need 50 Thunder Stones, and so on.

I'm afraid, my friend, that you do Not want a tibia-based pokemon game, you just want a regular pokemon (ZA, Emerald, etc).

What this game actually needs is the exact opposite to what you want, it's a RPG, we need more progression, bigger maps, etc.

I believe that the comment regarding the map makes perfect sense. Most of it is really old and many areas arent used/passed by.
Unless we have a "hide and seek" or "find eggs/ballons" around the map. (right?) Indeed, the map needs to be updated/optimized.

However I agree the main problem here is the lack of players (As rebelious said).

Maybe a brand new server could revive the retired community and also bring new players.

PS - The game needs to invest in media and promotion on the right channels to attract these potential new members.
