There are more than 200 positions where they spawn but you only need 14 if I remember well. If you find gift in position x then it doesn't mean others will find in the same place. (there's a chance that they'd find it there too)

Does they spawn underground as well? It's hard to find all these gifts, I mean, the map is really big so it would be nice to have at least some hint

First of all don't fly, you must be on the same ground level as the gift to be able to see it.
Second of all if you wanna help each other, keep posting positions as there 200+ of them so some will be in commong for few players obviously
