With latest restart the newly added bug net is now working. For now you can only get it from summer mystery box or buying it from other players, in future there may be other methods to obtain it. Bug net is linked to the character once used (there is a confirmation window for this).

HnFhnQ5.png

You see a bug net (linked).
Maximum allowed baits: 2.
Cooldown: 9 ~ 10 seconds.

The system is similar to fishing rods, in fact the cooldown for fishing and bug hunting is shared, so you can't really fish and bug hunt at the same time.
Instead of being used on water it must be used on bushes/trees, different bushes/trees will spawn different Pokemon.
The bug net allows a maximum of 2 baits, these baits are exclusive for the net of course.
Using any bait will improve the success rate of spawning Pokemon, and increase the maximum amount of Pokemon spawned by +1.

You see a Weedle jar.
While equipped you can find only Bug type Pokemon.
Additionaly you can find Big Galvantula.
Cannot be used with Caterpie Jar or Grimer Jar.

You see a Caterpie jar.
While equipped you can find only Flying type Pokemon.
Cannot be used with Weedle Jar or Grimer Jar.

You see a Grimer jar.
While equipped you can find only Poison type Pokemon.
Cannot be used with Weedle Jar or Caterpie Jar.

You see a Shiny Grimer jar.
While equipped you can find only strong Pokemon.

You see a Shiny Venonat Jar.
Gives a small chance to find Shiny Pokemon.

You see a Venonat jar.
Gives a small chance to find 1 additional Pokemon and a very small chance to find 2 additional Pokemon.
Cannot be used with Shiny Caterpie Jar.

You see a Shiny Caterpie jar.
Gives a small chance to find 2 additional Pokemon and a very small chance to find 3 additional Pokemon.
Cannot be used with Venonat Jar.

You see a Cutiefly jar.
Boosts chance to find Pokemon by 20%

Awesome system. But "Shiny items" can get shiny too? Or only Venonat Jar can get shiny's?

Dunno if you already thought something about the pokes themselves, but it's a nice system to add a possible Mega Beedrill/Mega Pidgeot, with maybe some future helds.
Already tested and it's amazing. Congratulations for the good work.

Mega Beedrill is a reward from Golden Tower, so that's a not, we'll see about Mega Pidgeot for sure.

Sting forgot to mention, but it's also possible to find shiny seviper using bug net

I would suggest Sh Carnivine also (and shuckle’s spawn is temporary for summer season but it would be nice if he could drop from the bug net in that time)

You're crazy, that's fine with big shinys, some can't even be seen with so many that appear, for the small bushes in which only Noibat appears, they could add sh vullaby and karrablast, but more big shinys, na it takes the fun out of it
